(1) The first product of the e:NP1 brand. As the first pure electric vehicle launched by GAC Honda in the Chinese market, the e:NP1 is built on the "e:N Architecture F" platform and adopts the new "e:N Design" design language. The front face uses the closed grille design commonly seen in electric vehicles and adds the symbolic luminous "H" logo of the e:N series.
In terms of body size, the new car is 4388*1790*1560mm in length, width and height, with a wheelbase of 2610mm. It is positioned as a small pure electric SUV.
The tail adopts the popular through-type taillights, and the new "Honda" letter logo replaces Honda's traditional "H" tail logo.
The new car has two different specifications of motors, with maximum power of 134 kW and 150 kW respectively. It is equipped with a high-density ternary lithium battery jointly developed by Honda and CATL, with a battery capacity of 68.8 kWh. Under NEDC conditions, the new car's comprehensive cruising range will reach 420 km and 500 km.
(2) The second product of the e:NP2 brand, the e:NP2 [4], will be officially launched at the Beijing Auto Show on April 25, 2024 [5]. The new car has been upgraded in terms of intelligence, practicality, and controllability.
The e:NP2 adopts the "e:N Design" design concept, combining the controllability of a sedan with the functionality of an SUV. The front face of the new car is clearly layered, and the luminous H logo and the wide headlights create a certain momentum ready to go. The e:NP2 has sharp and dynamic body lines, and the sloping rear is highly recognizable.
Inside the car, the interior design of the new car is refreshing and simple, and the through-type front row enhances the sense of transparency in the car. The e:NP2 is equipped with a clean and smooth dashboard, an oval steering wheel, a 12.8-inch central control screen, a thin instrument panel and a large-size HUD head-up display. The legroom in the rear of the vehicle is spacious and the seat back can be adjusted in two levels. Under normal conditions, the trunk volume reaches 506 liters, and with the hatchback tailgate, loading cargo is very convenient.
The e:NP2 is equipped with Honda CONNECT 4.0 intelligent interconnection system, which can easily adjust the scene settings in the car. The new car is equipped with Honda's many advanced technologies for the first time, including intelligent heating system, gesture control function, 12-speaker BOSE audio, 6 fragrance systems, 10 theme color atmosphere lights, etc. In addition, Honda SENSING intelligent driving assistance system and APS one-button intelligent parking assistance and other functions fully cover daily driving scenes.
The e:NP2 is built on the "e:N Architecture" intelligent and efficient pure electric architecture, equipped with high-power motors, and integrated with Honda's sports performance tuning. The vehicle responds quickly and turns accurately.
In terms of safety, the vehicle adopts a high-rigidity body, and the use rate of 980mpa-1500mpa ultra-high strength steel reaches 33.2%. The vehicle focuses on comprehensive collision protection, optimizes the body structure, and uses high-performance aluminum bumpers. The e:NP2 battery has undergone 41 rigorous tests to ensure stable and reliable operation in various extreme environments.
